Shapes and Masks

With Zakeke you can create a gallery of shapes that your customers can use to decorate your products. Shapes can also function as masks for images.

How to use the tool

Create a gallery of shapes

Go to Tools > Shapes and Masks > Add

You have two options:

  • upload your own files (supported formats: PNG and SVG)
  • Import the shapes from the Zakeke library

Zakeke provides you with a library of hundreds of shapes that you can use to create your own gallery. You can select a few of them or copy the entire libraryPlease note that when you import the entire library you won't be able to edit categories or remove individual shapes or change their names or characteristics (turn on/off mask function).

Once your gallery is created, you can Assign it to one or more products or to one or more printing methods and the gallery will be available to your customers as a new tool in the Customizer. See below:

Use shapes as image masks

When a shape is in your gallery, you can choose whether to use it also as a mask by clicking on it and toggling the ‘★’ icon.

If a shape is enabled as a mask, users can use it to crop the images they upload in the Customizer, giving them a unique shape.

In the upload panel, users will find the “Masks” tool, as shown in the image below.

The resulting effect will look like this example:

Tip: Shapes can also be used as Fillable Shapes when creating Pre-designed Templates. This allows customers to upload their own images and automatically fit them inside the selected shape. See the Fillable Shape guide for more details.
