1. Projects

To navigate to the Projects  section follow these steps:

1. Log in – After signing into your Zakeke account, access the 3D DAM & AR Viewer.

2. Navigating the Menu – Inside the DAM, you’ll find the Projects section in the main menu:

This section allows you to manage and track the status of your 3D assets throughout the modeling process.

All the assets that are undergoing the 3D modeling process can be found in this section.

Filters

  • Requests: select a request number to display the related 3D models
  • Project Type (Viewer, Customizer, Configurator, Demo)
  • Requested State (Draft, Open Request, Check References, Work in Progress, 3D Review, Approved)
  • Tags (tags used to categorize the 3D models)
  • Search 3D
  • Click on the round arrow icon to reset all filters

 

Fields

In the table you can find the preview image of the product to be modeled, the product name and the product SKU. You can monitor: 

  • Preview
  • Asset (Name/Code)
  • Status (Draft, Open Request, Check References, Work in Progress, 3D Review, Approved)
  • Estimated Start / Finish dates
  • Deadline
  • Days 
  • Project Type (Viewer, Customizer, Configurator, Demo): each of them can be identified by a specific icon
  • Tags (to view assigned tags or create/assign new tags)

Click on the preview image to explore the project detail page.

Looking at the top of the page you can monitor the status of the model (Draft, Open Request, Check References, Work in Progress, 3D Review, Approved). 

  • Draft : temporary status, pending planning
  • Open Request: the reference images and files required for modeling have been uploaded and you asked for the 3D modeling service
  • Check References: intermediate state to check the files you uploaded
  • Work in Progress:  3D modeling process has started
  • 3D Review: the 3D model is ready and you can start reviewing it 
  • Approved: the 3D model has been approved and published in the Asset library 

Each 3D model is equipped with its Asset Information. You can also add notes to streamline the 3D modeling process. 

All along the 3D modeling process, you can always update images or .zip attachments. 

Once the 3D model has been reviewed, you can click on Approved to find the model in the Asset library, ready to be published

You can eliminate the product, by clicking on basket icon. 

 

2. Requests for Services

To navigate to the Request for Services section follow these steps:

1. Log in – After signing into your Zakeke account, access the 3D DAM & AR Viewer.

2. Navigating the Menu – Inside the DAM, you’ll find the Request for Services section in the main main menu:

In this section, you can ask for your 3D modeling estimates. 

Click on Add New 3D Modeling Request to start filling in the fields necessary for the quotation.

General Information

  • Request Name. Identification name for the request
  • General Requirements. The overall goal of the modeling request and any integration project.

Models Information

  • Service Type. Choose the service type most suitable for your 3D project: 3D DAM & AR Viewer, 3D Product Configurator, or Visual Product Customizer.

  • Asset Name
  • Asset Code: a unique code assigned to each asset.
  • Specific Requirements: any specific, textures, colors, and key features for accurate modeling or setup.
  • Dimensions. Centimeters or inches(Width, Height, Length).
  • Reference Images:provide high-res front, side, back, top, bottom, and 45° angle views, plus close-ups of key details for 3D modeling.
  • Tags: find or create a tag (Learn More in the Tags guide).
  • Attachments. Any other references, of any file extension, useful for quoting the request, compressed in a .zip archive.

Once you have finished, click on the button Request quote to send a new request for quotation, or you can go back and the request remains saved in draft to integrate the data at any time.

 

In the Request list, you can filter your requests by: 

  • Request status (Draft, Open, Quote, Closed)

Quotations details include the following fields:

  • Requests Number
  • Request Name
  • Quantity of assets required
  • Requests status
  • Creation date
  • Quotation document attached
  • Possible actions on a single request.
    • Edit while the request is in draft status
    • View, when the request has been sent.
    • Accept or Reject, when a quote has been attached.

2.1 Quotations

Once a quotation is issued, you can view it by clicking on the quotation file.

You can accept or reject a quotation by clicking on the buttons in the Action column.

Please note that the 3D modeling process will not start until the quotation is accepted.
