Autofit image to print area

When an image is added as a customization, Autofit automatically adjusts its size the images to fit the  print area of the product.

You find it as a feature in the Printing Methods

It can work with both:

  • images that your customers upload
  • images that your customers pick from your galleries

When enabled, you can choose one of the following scaling options:

1. Fit within print area

The image is scaled to fit entirely inside the print area.

  • No part of the image is cropped.

  • If the aspect ratios differ, empty space may appear around the image.

Use case: When you need the whole image visible within the print area.

See example below

2. Fill print area

The image is scaled to completely cover the print area.

  • Parts of the image may be cropped if its aspect ratio doesn’t match the print area.

  • Best for layouts where you want the entire area filled, even if some parts of the image are lost.

Use case: All-over designs or borderless prints where full coverage is required.

See example below
