When an image is added as a customization, Autofit automatically adjusts its size the images to fit the print area of the product.
You find it as a feature in the Printing Methods
It can work with both:
- images that your customers upload
- images that your customers pick from your galleries
When enabled, you can choose one of the following scaling options:
1. Fit within print area
The image is scaled to fit entirely inside the print area.
No part of the image is cropped.
If the aspect ratios differ, empty space may appear around the image.
Use case: When you need the whole image visible within the print area.
See example below
2. Fill print area
The image is scaled to completely cover the print area.
Parts of the image may be cropped if its aspect ratio doesn’t match the print area.
Best for layouts where you want the entire area filled, even if some parts of the image are lost.
Use case: All-over designs or borderless prints where full coverage is required.
See example below
