The Repeated Pattern feature allows end users to create repeated patterns of a text or logo across the entire printable area of a product (e.g., gift wrap, pajamas, or other items).
For example, as shown below, the Zakeke logo was uploaded only once and then automatically repeated across the entire canvas according to the pattern selected and adjusted by the customer.
How to Enable
Go to Printing Method.
Navigate to the section “Allow customers to create repeated patterns with logos or text in the customizer.”
Enable it by switching the toggle
When enabling this option, you can configure the following:
Choose whether the feature is available for both images and text, or only for one of the two.
Select which pattern styles (e.g., grid, diagonal, random…) will be offered to the customer as presets.
Decide whether customers can adjust spacing and offset to fine-tune the pattern.
Please note
-
The pattern applies to individual elements only,
not
to an entire design.
Example: If a customer uploads an image and also adds text, they cannot create one pattern combining both. The pattern can be applied separately to the image or to the text. - If enabled for images, the feature applies to all images: both customer uploads and gallery-provided images.
- The feature cannot be enabled for other graphic elements such as shapes.
Warning
- Pricing rules apply only to the main element from which the pattern is created. This means that, as example, rules based on the number of elements or the size of the design will still consider only the original design element (text or image) used to generate the pattern, not the repeated instances.
