SVG color sync between elements

With the Sync Color feature, you can ensure consistent colors across multiple SVG elements, whether they’re on the same side of a product or across different sides.

This feature is especially useful for sublimated products with multiple sides that need to share consistent colors, such as Sports jerseys where sleeves, front, and back should all match.

How to set it up

💡 Note
This feature only works with pre-designed templates, because it only applies to elements that are already part of the design — it does not support user-uploaded elements.

💡 Note 2
This feature is only available in the new Visual Product Customizer UI.
If you started using Zakeke after March 2025, you're all set. Otherwise, you’ll need to activate the new UI by going to:
Settings > User Interface Settings > Continue with New UI

If you don’t see the switch option, please contact us at help@zakeke.com.

Follow these steps:

  1. Select the template you want to work on from Tools > Pre-Designed Templates;

  2. When you're in the template editor, click on the first SVG element you want to sync;

  3. In the element’s settings, check the option "Enable Tag";

  4. Enter a Tag Name

  5. Select "Sync Color" as Tag Type;

  6. Repeat this process for every other SVG element you want to sync.

    See this quick video:

Important
The tag name must be exactly the same for all synced elements.

Important 2
This only works if the SVG elements have exactly the same colors. Color sync applies to matching color values across elements.
