Over the past few months, we have been working on two main directions: introducing new features to improve the customization and configuration experience, and starting a complete review of the Zakeke Backoffice to make it more modern, intuitive, and efficient.
This release introduces major improvements across three key areas:
- New features and tools
- The first release of the redesigned Zakeke Backoffice
- AI-powered utilities to simplify Backoffice setup
1. New Features and Tools
Minimum Order Quantity
We introduced the ability to set a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for customized products.
This feature allows merchants to define a minimum quantity required for each product, ensuring customers can only proceed with orders that meet the configured quantity threshold.
Extra Options
We introduced Extra Options for customizable products.
This feature allows you to add non-visual options to a product, giving customers the ability to select additional choices that do not affect the product’s graphic personalization or appearance. Extra Options can be used to extend product configurations with complementary selections and create a more flexible purchasing experience.
AI 3D Model Generation
We launched AI-powered 3D model generation as a new agent within our AI Agents Studio solution.
This feature enables users to generate 3D models through AI-assisted workflows, significantly reducing the time and effort traditionally required for 3D asset creation. Models can be created starting from a text prompt or from one or more reference images, making the process more accessible and flexible across different use cases.
AI Try-On & AI Lifestyle Scenes — Custom Asset Uploads
Merchants can upload their own assets, such as backgrounds, models, poses, and styles, in addition to the presets provided by Zakeke, making them available to customers for generating Try-On experiences or Lifestyle Scenes.
When only one asset per category is enabled, the generation process in the UI is triggered automatically, streamlining the user experience and making content creation faster and more seamless.
Test AI Try-On and AI Lifestyle Scenes by activating them from AI Creative Tools in the menu.
2. The First Release of the New Zakeke Backoffice
We officially started the redesign process of the Zakeke Backoffice.
The goal of this initiative is to improve usability, simplify workflows, and create a more modern and intuitive platform experience.
This release represents the first step of a broader evolution that will progressively involve the entire Backoffice.
Updated Pages
As part of this release, several pages and workflows have been reviewed and improved to simplify navigation and daily operations, including important sections such as Printing Methods, Pricing Rules, 3D Preview & AR, Get a Quote, Test Mode, and Tools.

New Sections and Components
As part of the ongoing evolution of the new Zakeke Backoffice, additional structural and UX improvements have been introduced to further simplify navigation and centralize key workflows.
Order Settings
A new centralized section that brings together operational and integration-related configurations, including:
- Print file names
- Order Summary customization
- Email notifications for Manual Orders, Etsy, and Amazon
- Access to Zapier and Webhooks page for order automation
This section is accessible both from Settings and from Orders (via the gear icon in the top-right corner).
Integration Settings
A unified area for managing sales channel integrations, replacing previous scattered pages.
It includes Shopify Settings, Etsy Settings, BigCommerce Settings, and others as dedicated tabs.
This section is accessible both from Settings and from Sales Channels (via the gear icon in the top-right corner).
Product Sidebar
A new side panel accessible by clicking a row in a Customizable Product list.
It acts both as:
- A quick summary view (to immediately understand what tools and rules are active on a product)
- A management hub, where tools can be assigned or edited directly
Assign To
The previous assignment flow has been replaced across all tools with a unified Assign To button.
It opens a side drawer where users can assign tools to products or printing methods in a faster and more consistent way.
3. AI-powered utilities to simplify Backoffice setup
We also introduced AI-powered support across several setup and management functionalities.
Users can now describe what they want in natural language, and the AI automatically configures the setup accordingly.
AI-assisted setup is now available for:
- Pricing Rules
- Extra Options
- PDF Preview
- Order Summary
- Quote Summary
