1. Introduction

Zakeke allows you to customize your products in 2D, 3D, AR, with VTO or sell customized NFTs. But let's start from the beginning by defyining what NFTs are and how they can be created.

NFT stands for ‘non-fungible token’. Non-fungible means that something is unique and can’t be replaced. Non-fungible tokens or NTFs are cryptographic assets which sit on a blockchain – that is, a distributed public ledger that records transactions.
Each NFT contains unique identification codes that distinguish them from each other. This data makes it easy to transfer tokens between owners and to verify ownership. Every NFT contains a digital signature which makes each one unique. NFTs are digital assets that, now thanks to Zakeke, can be purchased after a visual customization process in 2D or 3D. 

2. How to enable the feature and sell customized NFTs

To be ready to sell customized NFTs, you need to complete a few simple steps.

1. In your Zakeke's dashboard, go inside Addon and activate NFT-Enhanced products
2. Then, inside Settings, click on manage NFT-Enhanced Products
3. To activate the feature on your store, toggle Enable tool
4. Choose whether you'll apply a mark-up fee to your customized NFT or not and click Save to complete the activation process. The mark-up fee is an additional cost that you set for customers who choose to purchase your customized products with an associated NFT. They'll pay it in your cart along with the product's price.

Please note

Once you activate the NFT-Enhanced products addon, all of your customized and configured products will be associated with NFTs.

Important

The NFT-Enhanced products addon is not available for stores built on Wix and Etsy. 

3. How shoppers can purchase customized NFTs

Shoppers will need to complete these activities in order to purchase your customizable NFTs:

1. Set up a personal NFT Account in a market like OpenSea
   
   
2. Connect a valid crypto wallet
   They’ll need a valid wallet which they’ll use to purchase an NFT. An example of this would be MetaMask or something similar. Within their NFT account there will be directions on how to connect the wallet to the marketplace.

Once they have associated the wallet, they can go through your brand’s shopping experience and customize their products. Upon checking out, they will be given two options, the one to “Purchase this Product with NFT” and the regular one, without NFT. 

Please note

The end users at the time of adding a custom product to the shopping cart will be able to decide whether or not to purchase the NFT of that product. If they agree, they will be asked to enter the email where they'd like to receive the token and the public wallet address with which the NFT is to be purchased.

3.1 Terms and Conditions

Customers, by completing the purchase process, will accept the Terms and Conditions detailed here at this link. 

3.2 Token display

Users once they receive the email with the link to display the customized NFT will be directed to  OpenSea where the token will be displayed. OpenSea is the world's first and largest web3 marketplace for NFTs and crypto collectibles.

Users will be able to access OpenSea at any time and view the full NFTs purchased with Zakeke. If the custom product has multiple sides they will all be shown in a gallery, as well as the 3D version if product has been configured with the 3D Configurator. 

4. Pricing

The addon has a monthly extra price on top of your plan of $9,90 USD for a maximum of 10.000 NFTs generated per month.
