How to create a recolourable product

If you need to create a recolourable product in various sections, with different colours, in Zakeke it is possible, in two ways:

  1. by using SVG files and Pre-designed Templates
  2. with the Product background editing tool

1. Using SVG files and Pre-designed Templates

It's possible to create your recolourable product by creating the pre-designed template after defined the print area via the "Customizable product" function, in this way you can allow your customers to select a single part of your product to recolour it.

Example

A very common example is a t-shirt to be customized with different colours in different sections.
in this case, you can allow the customization of the sleeves and the lower central part.

the ones you see indicated by the arrows are SVG images (green, blue and red) added in the specific pre-design template and in this way you can allow your customers to change the colours as they want.

How to do

You can start to define the Print Area via Customizable Products > click on your product > Edit print area.

Now it is important to add the print area so that it covers the entire product, with polygonal area or Use a PNG mask to create the print area. (see below)
