Resizable products can be enhanced with a background and/or a border to improve the customer experience and the final appearance.
Background
By default, a resizable product has a neutral white background. This works well in many cases, but it may not be ideal if you sell colored products or items made from different materials.
To address this, you can apply a material pattern (e.g., wood, marble, metal) or a solid color.
The selected material or color will automatically adjust as the customer resizes the product, helping to better simulate the final appearance.
You can also upload your own material image, although Zakeke provides a selection of ready-to-use options for convenience.
Border
You can add a border to your resizable product to define edges or enhance the visual appeal.
There are three types of borders:
Solid Color
The border will have a uniform color of your choice. Customers cannot change this color.Mirror Wrap
The customer’s design is mirrored and extended onto the border, creating a seamless continuation of their artwork.Same as Background
The border adopts the same color or material as the product’s background, ensuring a seamless look that automatically updates if the background changes.

Include border in print-files
If you do want to include the border in the print files you can check the specific box during the Resizable product setup. Otherwise, it will only be visible inside the 3D product view.
Important
Border is only visible in the 3D preview
The border of a resizable product is only visible in the 3D preview within
the customizer. It will not appear in the 2D view. If 3D preview is not
enabled,
the border will not be displayed and will only be included in the final
print
file if “Include Border in Print Files” is checked.
